The quilt got its name because as she worked on it during a guild quilt retreat each person that would stop by our table would remark "Oh My Gosh". If my memory does not fail - this retreat was after the Space Shuttle Columbia disaster and it just seemed to me that because of Sue's close ties to the space industry and her love of quilting this quilt was her journey through the grieving.

Tuesday, May 27, 2008 Omigosh Quilt My friends and I decided to pool our fabric and that way we'd get a lot more variety in our quilts. It's been a lot of fun playing with fabric but it took us about a week (on and off) to organize and cut out what we'd need to make this quilt. Here's a picture of some of the 1 inch strips that we've been cutting.

April 13, 2012 Oh my gosh…is right. Lots-O-quilting going on here. The girls have been teasing me that I am like a vampire. I am always down in the studio. I never go out in the sunlight. And I stay up all night. They affectionately call me Edward (Twilight). LOL!! With all this quilting and such going on, it has left little time for piecing.
